What is a sanitary diverter valve
Sanitary diverter valves are also called Single seat valve/directional valve/reversing valve.
Sanitary directional valve mainly use external force to make the spool produce relative movement to change the direction of flow of the medium and cut off.
Single seat valve has very flexible valve body combination and various functional configurations, such as aseptic, sterilization, diaphragm type, adjustable valve position, jacket insulation, damping buffer, double seat etc.
Also can install with automatic positioner, control head, feedback device, position sensor etc.
JIANEN offers a wide range of sanitary shut-off diverter valves. Manual, pneumatic, can be used with control tops or positioners.
Diverter valves are available as manual diverter valves and pneumatic diverter valves.

Manual Diverter Valves
When the actuator is not operated, the spool is in the initial position, at which time the channels are connected or disconnected according to the setting of the initial position of the spool, and the fluid flows according to the established flow direction.
Manually operated valves can be easily converted to pneumatically operated valves by replacing the crank mechanism with an actuator.
Since these valves are not operated by compressed air, they have fewer moving parts and fewer spare parts. This further reduces the cost of ownership and simplifies maintenance.
Pneumatic Diverter Valves
The valves are operated automatically by means of single- or double-acting pneumatic actuators.
By supplying compressed air, the valve is moved to the "open" or "closed" position by moving the shaft.
The normally open and normally closed functions can be interchanged by rotating the cylinder by 180°.
