Stainless blind flanges
Blind flanges are solid flanges and these flanges are meant to be used to close the ends of pipes, valves or equipment nozzles. These stainless steel blind flanges have bolt holes to attach to flat surfaces or other flanges and can also be used to absorb vibrations.
Blind flanges, like standard pipe flanges, can be raised face (RF) or flat (FF).

Precautions for flange sealing
For RF flanges, we recommend a standard ring gasket suitable for the application or test. For FF flanges, a full face gasket is typically used, as FF flanges are not designed to handle the bending forces that occur with ring gaskets or RF flanges. Blind flanges are treated the same as any other pipe flange.

Number of Bolt Holes
The number of bolt holes in a flange can vary based on its size and pressure rating. Common configurations include 4, 8, 12, or 16 bolt holes. To ensure proper alignment, the number of bolt holes should match the mating flange.
