The steps to replace the filter element are as follows:
Turn off the water purifier's water inlet valve and power supply to ensure safe operation.
Open the faucet of the water purifier to empty the internal water and reduce the flow of water when replacing the filter element.
Open the water purifier's filter element protective cover. This is usually a buckle type, which can be opened by pulling it.
After opening the cover, you can see the internal filter. Find the corresponding filter element that needs to be replaced. Usually, the filter element will have a logo for easy identification.
There is usually a buckle on the upper part of the filter element. Push this buckle upwards to easily open the filter element. Then pull the filter element out to remove the old filter element. During the removal process, there may be some water flowing out. You can prepare paper towels in advance to dry it.
After removing all the filter elements that need to be replaced, take out the new filter element. Pay attention to check whether the new filter element packaging is intact. If it is intact, you can open the package and remove the filter element.
When installing a new filter element, pay attention to the direction of the filter element. Generally speaking, it should align with the water purifier logo to ensure smooth water flow. Install the new filter element according to the name into the corresponding card slot, which is the opposite of the method used to remove the old filter element.
After replacing the filter element, open the water valve and power switch of the water purifier. The water purifier will run automatically for several seconds. After the sound stops, open the water purifier faucet and let the water run for about 10 minutes to discharge any air and impurities in the filter element. Water during these 10 minutes should not be used for consumption, but it can be used for cleaning non-consumable items.
Finally, adjust the lighting of the filter element on the panel. Usually, you can select the corresponding filter element by short pressing, and then press and hold to restore the blue light to complete the settings.
